My name is Takira and I have hrdrosalpinx in one of my tubes for the ones that don't know Hydrosalpinx is a form of tubal factor infertility. A hydrosalpinx is a fallopian tube that becomes filled with fluid. It can cause infertility and ectopic pregnancy. Most often it occurs at the fimbrial end of the tube next to the ovary, but it can also occur at the other end of the tube that attaches to the uterus.(Twenty to 30% of infertility cases involve problems related to the fallopian tubes (tubal factor infertility). Hydrosalpinx is present in 10% to 20% of these cases.)
