Our names are Cody and Robyn Martin. We live in Virginia and got married in 2019. Cody works as a Worship Pastor and is currently working on his Masters Degree. Robyn works part time and manages the schedules for our foster kids. We are currently foster parents to a three year old, who is set to return home in Spring/Summer 2025. As much as we love fostering we are looking to permanently expand our family through embryo adoption or an egg donation. Fostering is such an amazing experience and we plan to continue, but it can also be extremely difficult. We love children from all kinds of difficult situations until they go home, which is hard after growing attached to them. It is so amazing to see successful reunification and it is such a picture of God's grace and redemption, however, it takes a toll on us as foster parents emotionally. We would love to have a child or children that are ours, forever. From the very very beginning.
Due to previous medical conditions and two rounds of chemotherapy, Robyn is unable to conceive or carry a baby. However, we have a family member who volunteered to go through the steps and has been cleared to be our gestational carrier! We could not be more grateful! Now that we have finished the initial tests and consults and have a path forward, we are ready to begin fundraising! If God leads you, we would be so honored if you would give to expand the Martin Family.

We Have Our Travel Dates

Hello Everyone! We officially have our travel dates scheduled! My mom and I will be leaving on March 9th and coming back on March 15th. Please pray for safe travels and a successful embryo transfer! Thank you again for all your generous giving. The only part we still need to raise is legal fees but that is not truly needed till closer to the time of the birth. Thank you all again!
Reached Our First Milestone

Great news! Cody completed our taxes and with our tax return we are now able to cover the $9,000 treatment/embryo transfer costs! Now the only things left to raise are the legal fees for our adoption and travel expenses. Thank you all for sharing! We will be leaving in about a month for our week long stay at the clinic and we are counting down the days! Please keep sharing and thank you to everyone who has given to make this dream a reality! Love you all!
We Have Been Matched!

We are super ecstatic to announce that we have been matched with our babies! We have two embryo\\\\'s that are waiting for us at our clinic and we will do the first embryo transfer in March! We are so excited that we are getting so close to the transfer date! We have raised $3,005 at the time of this writing. Please keep sharing and donating so we can reach our goal! Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive and we asked for continued prayers for safety and success!

We have reached our first $1,000 on our gift of parenthood fundraising site! In total we have raised 2,000 so far. (Some donations have been directly to us). Thank you everyone who has shared, donated, and prayed for us. This week, if all goes as planned, we should be getting matched with our embryo’s!!! We are so excited! We plan to travel to the clinic in March for the embryo transfer. Please continue to share so we can reach our goal! Thank you all!
