Two Hearts, One Dream: A Baby

We’re Andrew and Erica Valenti, and our story is one of love, sacrifice, and hope. I had my children right out of high school, before meeting my wonderful husband, Andrew. They have brought me endless joy, but they also live with medical challenges caused by a genetic condition. Out of love and protection, I made the difficult decision to have a tubal ligation, knowing it meant closing the door on having more children naturally. When I met Andrew, everything changed. He showed me what true love and partnership really mean. Together, we’ve built a home filled with laughter, patience, and strength — yet we both feel there’s still one more piece missing to complete our family. Because of my tubal ligation and our genetic concerns, using donor eggs is our only option. We’re ready emotionally, but the financial burden is beyond our reach. This grant would give us the chance to grow our family without the fear of passing on a genetic condition, and to welcome another child into a home overflowing with love, hope, and gratitude.
