Shannon and Amanda's Journey to their Family

My name is Amanda and my wife Shannon and I have been married for over 6 years. We met at work, fell in love, moved in together at 2 months, engaged at 4 months and married at 6 months. When you know, you just know. Shortly after we were married, we began fertility treatments at a clinic as we knew, we wanted a family. After 4 failed IUIs and thousands spent out of pocket we had to put our journey on hold. We cared for our godson for the first 11 months of his life, cared for a friend's 3 small kids while they dealt with legal issues and through it all, we knew our time would come again. We have looked in to adoption, surrogacy and have applied for a few grants along the way. So, we decided to take a chance this route, with a fundraiser. We love so hard and so much and have so much of it to give. We are ready for a child of our own.
