Cory and Ryan�s IVF and Surrogacy Journey

We are Cory and Ryan, we met in 2015 and have loved each other ever since. Together we live in South Buffalo, NY, with our fur babies. We have 2 of the cutest and silliest dogs, a cat, and a little parrot that asks us “what you doin’?” all the time! In Buffalo, fun is seasonal. So, in the summer we enjoy trying new things and going on adventures, and in the winter we like staying in and relaxing all cozy together. I (Cory) have only ever been sure of one thing in my life; that I want to be a mom. After meeting Ryan I became sure of 2 things; that I want to be a mom, and Ryan is going to be an incredible dad. Around 14 years old, I was diagnosed with Mullerian Agenesis and was told I would never be able to carry a pregnancy. I was devastated at 14 and still struggle with the grief of that fact now. Mullerian Agenesis is caused by the failure of the Mullerian duct to develop, resulting in the failure of the uterus to develop to functionality, or failure of the uterus to develop at all. Because the Mullerian duct does not affect the development of ovaries, we still have the option to have a child together using my eggs through IVF and gestational surrogacy. Dealing with the uncertainty of infertility has been extremely difficult on us, but we are hopeful that through this process we can start to grow our family and make our dream of having a family together come true. We know this is a large goal to reach, but no donation is too small to help bring us closer to bringing a baby home. We will never be able to thank you all enough for your support.
