Puzzling Our Way to Baby Brown

When Miranda and Jared met in 2015 they instantly bonded over the love they had for their family. They both discussed the desire for a large family themselves, wanting at least 4-5 children. Unfortunately, infertility was not something Miranda was unfamiliar with. Infertility ran in her family, and she knew that this could also be the reality she faced since being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Despite this diagnosis, the couple remained hopeful and continued to plan their life, leaning and trusting in God's plan. Fast forward to 2017, Miranda and Jared were newly engaged and the possibility of parenthood became more of a reality than ever before for the couple. Unfortunately, in that same year, Miranda was rushed in for emergency surgery and experienced a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Not only had this threatened her life, but her left fallopian tube was removed. After seeing a fertility doctor, they were given positive news; the remaining fallopian tube was healthy, and the probability of having another ectopic pregnancy was slim. After years of natural family planning and no success, they finally began fertility treatment in March of 2021! 7 medicated cycles of Clomid, and one unsuccessful Intrauterine inseminations (IUI) later, they were finally pregnant after the second IUI! December 1, 2021, Miranda was celebrating not only her 28th birthday but also the miracle of a new life she and Jared and been praying for. Sadly, on December 2nd the couple learned that the pregnancy was nonviable, and yet again Miranda was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. She was immediately taken back for surgery and her right fallopian tube was removed. Although they were saddened by this, Miranda and Jared knew that they still had options; In vitro fertilization (IVF), adoption, or surrogacy. They decided their next best option was to turn to IVF, and with the help, love, and support from their family and friends, they were gifted money to begin treatments!
