A piece of our journey!

My name is Lacey, and this is my husband Billy. We have always dreamed of becoming parents together. It was never a question of if — only when. At just 19 and 21 years old, our lives changed in an instant. When the mother of our nieces tragically passed away in a car accident, two little girls were suddenly left without the stability and security they deserved. Without hesitation, we stepped in to raise them as our own. While most young couples are just beginning to navigate adulthood, we found ourselves navigating grief, parenthood, and immense responsibility overnight. We put many of our dreams on hold — including our dream of having a child together — to give these girls a safe, loving, and stable home. And we would do it again in a heartbeat. For years, we have poured our hearts, time, and resources into raising two beautiful children. Now, after building a stable life and finally feeling ready to grow our family, we received more heartbreaking news: I have blocked fallopian tubes, and IVF is our only path to having a biological child together. After taking on the unexpected financial responsibility of raising two children at such a young age, this added expense feels overwhelming. We have never shied away from hard things — but this is one challenge we cannot overcome alone. We are hoping to raise money to help cover: • IVF treatment and procedures • Fertility medications • Required medical testing • Any appointment-related expenses.  We answered the call to parenthood long before we ever expected to. Now, we are asking for support as we try to grow our family and turn this long-awaited dream into a reality.  If you feel led to give, we are deeply grateful.
