My name is Katelyn, and my fiancés name is Jared. I was diagnosed a few years back with polycystic ovarian syndrome, also known as PCOS. We have both had testing done, my tubes are open and clear, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with my fiancé. We have tried for 2 years without medication, with letrozole 5 rounds, clomid 7 rounds, and one with clomid and a trigger shot “ovidrel”. It’s always been my dream to be a mother. We have tried and fought so hard to have a baby of our own to complete our little family, however medications become expensive. The ovidrel trigger shot alone is over $200, not counting the IUI procedure we were suggested to start, and neither of our insurances cover anything related to infertility, only diagnostics. If IUI fails a few times, we will be moving on to IVF, which some of you know is VERY unaffordable. We’ve recently became homeowners and as you know that comes with a lot of expense when buying a brand new home, getting everything started, maintenance, etc. We really would appreciate any assistance with this, even if it’s just $1.00 it would mean the world to us, as it helps give us a chance to have our sweet baby here with us.
******It’s now came to our attention that we’re just “asking for handouts”, but like I have told everyone, don’t feel obligated to donate if you don’t want to. We are NOT asking for handouts, we both work for our money. However anyone smart knows how the economy is right now and how expensive everything is.******
