My name is Justyne, and I am 28 years old, living in beautiful Northern California. As an autistic woman, I have always dreamt of having a family of my own. This dream has been a guiding light in my life, illuminating my path through both challenges and triumphs. In the past couple of years, I learned that I am a carrier of a genetic condition called Hereditary Fructose Intolerance, which affects the ALDOB gene. This discovery struck me profoundly. It made me realize that if I want to avoid passing on this condition or my carrier status to any future children, I will need to pursue IVF with genetic testing. While this adds another layer to my journey, it has also fueled my determination to start a family. Throughout my life, I have navigated various hurdles that have shaped who I am today. Though I don't have an official diagnosis of infertility, I have experienced irregular periods, which might be linked to undiagnosed PCOS or Endometriosis. These uncertainties have been challenging, but they have also reinforced my resolve. I am ready to embrace the journey ahead, and I feel a deep sense of readiness to explore the steps necessary to create the family I have always envisioned. Education has been a significant part of my journey. I began college in 2024 and have maintained a 4.0 GPA, striving to earn my associate's degree before pursuing a bachelor's degree. Despite the delays in my education due to my autism, I have embraced every moment, learning and growing along the way. This experience has taught me resilience and the importance of perseverance, qualities that I know will serve me well as a parent. While my autism has posed challenges in my social life, particularly in romantic relationships, I firmly believe that I have the capability to start and nurture a family on my own. I have a strong support system from my family, who I know will be there for me as I embark on this journey. My aspiration is to have two children'ideally one of each gender'but above all, I want them to be healthy and happy. I envision raising my children to be kind, considerate, and compassionate individuals who foster joy wherever they go. The love I have to give is boundless, and I am committed to providing them with everything they need to thrive. My heart is open, and I am filled with hope as I look toward the future, ready to embrace the beautiful chaos of motherhood. I believe that, despite the obstacles, I am prepared to create a loving home filled with laughter, understanding, and unconditional love.
