My husband, Phillip, and I are writing this today with a heartfelt request. For seven years, we've dedicated ourselves to building a loving and blended family. Our journey has been one of unwavering commitment, marked by both profound joys and significant challenges. From the outset, we've dreamed of having a child together, a dream consistently deferred due to unforeseen circumstances. We diligently saved for IVF, only to encounter a series of setbacks – financial emergencies and unexpected crises that repeatedly forced us to postpone our plans.

Then, in October 2021, the tragic passing of my stepsons’ biological mother plunged our family into a prolonged and emotionally taxing custody battle with their maternal grandmother. This year-long legal struggle consumed our time, energy, and resources, leaving us emotionally drained and financially depleted. Securing full custody of our two stepsons in October 2022 marked a turning point, but integrating them into our lives has been a gradual process of adjustment and adaptation. These two vibrant, energetic boys have enriched our lives immeasurably, but their presence has naturally shifted our priorities and financial resources.

Now, as we navigate this new chapter, a sense of stability has emerged, allowing us to once again consider our dream of expanding our family. However, the significant financial burden of IVF remains a substantial barrier.
