Hope

My name is Joslyn Rodriguez, and I have been with my husband for 8 years. For 8 years, I've been trying to give us a baby. When we got together, my husband lost his daughter at 6 years old. I already had a son. When I was 25, I had our last child, my husband was in the Army, and I was alone and young. The doctor had made me believe that cutting my tubes was for the best, because he said I would never know if my husband would come home. Everything inside told me no, but when I gave birth, they pushed a paper in front of me and had me sign it. In pain, going for a C-Section, I signed it. I yelled for them to stop, but it was too late! I wanted more kids; I feel this whole in my heart every day. As a family, we have so much love to give. We tried apodtion, but it didn't work. You may ask what if you have another boy? We would be so joyful, after all this time, a healthy baby would be enough. This is something we have wanted for years. As a wife and woman, knowing my choice in having more kids was gone, before I even knew what happened, hurts every day. We are asking for help in our journey.
