After six years of trying to grow our family, Torrezz and I are ready to take a new step in our journey. We met back in 2017 and quickly fell in love. From the beginning, we’ve shared a deep connection and a love that has only grown stronger over time. Family is incredibly special to both of us, and even though we each have beautiful daughters from previous relationships, we’ve always dreamed of sharing a child together. Just six months into our relationship, we knew we wanted to try for a baby. Since we both had children before, we never imagined we would face challenges. But after three years of trying, we learned the heartbreaking news that both of my fallopian tubes were blocked, and IVF would be our only option for having a child together. This news was incredibly hard for us and it took a toll on our relationship. We both went through a period of sadness and frustration. However, we held on to the hope that maybe, one day, a miracle would happen. But after six years, we’ve come to accept that IVF is the path we need to take to have our baby green. Through it all, we’ve always felt like there’s a piece of our family missing—like our family puzzle isn’t quite complete yet. While we love and cherish the 2 daughters we have, the dream of sharing a child together has always stayed close to our hearts and in our prayers. IVF is expensive, and with two children and medical bills, the financial burden is overwhelming. That’s why we’re reaching out to our family, friends and anyone else generous enough to help. No matter the size of the contribution, every bit will help us cover the costs of treatment and medication, bringing us closer to our dream of growing our family.
