Help Shawn and Chris�s Family Dream Come True

Hello, we are the Browns! Let us introduce ourselves and our situation! We are a married couple since 2021 & have been trying for our own child since 2022. Unfortunately we have been diagnosed with infertility and have gone through one unsuccessful round of IVF so far. To up our chances, our new clinic suggested we try two egg retrievals before our transfer this round. Unfortunately for us and our bank accounts, our fertility insurance will NOT cover two egg retrievals, so we will have to pay for it out of pocket. This strategy could up our chances of a successful embryo, so it would be the best chance for us to conceive. We would need about $12k to make up for the lack of coverage to pay for the egg retrieval and storage until they are needed in the future. This $12,000 would pay for everything needed for our second chance at a family— the procedure, testing, anesthesia, and medications. If you know anything about Shawn, she is not the best for asking for help but a donation to this fund would be a literal life changer. Unfortunately, we do not have parents to support us logistically nor financially, and we have worked very hard to get where we are. Shawn’s parents passed away in 2014 and 2023, and the chance of having a child to pass down the love, laughter, culture, and guidance she was given by her mother Patty and father Tim would mean the entire world to us, Shawn especially. After losing her mother in 2014, she struggled with finding normalcy and purpose in life. Without her mom, how would she get married? Get pregnant? Raise children? How can she be the best, most well-rounded and healthy individual without her mom to guide her? These things she struggled with daily and continues to struggle with to this day. It sounds strange, but this loss has made it that more important for Shawn and Chris to carry on this wonderful persons lineage— to share Patty’s warmth, love of life, humor, and culture (of course GOOD FOOD being first and foremost 😆!) It has been Shawn’s dream to be a teacher and a mother since she was a literal little girl. She’s already an amazing educator so please help us make her a mother too. We recently purchased a brand new home on our own at 36 years old & have a perfect place for a child to be loved on, equipped with two sweet, loving dog siblings for extra snuggles, and two loving parents who will be dedicated to ensuring a wonderful, fun, love filled life.
