My name is Thomas, and my wife and I have been married for eight wonderful years. I serve as a police officer in a busy city and am also a proud US Army veteran. While we’ve built a life full of love and commitment, there’s one dream that has remained just out of reach: becoming parents. For the past seven years, we’ve tried to conceive, holding onto hope even when nothing seemed to work. We’ve both undergone testing, and though doctors tell us we’re healthy, we’ve been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. It’s been a confusing and emotional journey—one that’s led us through two rounds of IUI, each ending in heartbreak. Still, our hope hasn’t faded. We believe IVF is our best chance to finally welcome a child into our family. But as a police officer and veteran, the cost feels overwhelming.
