Fertility testing

My name is Leah, I have struggled for 3 years to fall pregnant. I had a forgotten tampon a year ago the doctor had to pull out that was forgotten about.. and since I have been passing white tissue on my menstrual. I told my doctor that I am concerned my tubes are blocked and she is very understanding. My doctor recommended me to have a hsg, as well as check my thyroid and an ultrasound.
