? Double Rainbow Baby ?

6 years of trying…. 5 medicated cycles. 7 IUIs. 4 IVFs. 1 FET 1 Loss (little Phoebe) Our 5th IVF… Things went well for once. I responded well! 5 measuring follicles! 3 eggs were retrieved 2 early blasts by day 5 and 1 was trying to catch up We did a double transfer and I was pregnant! But that’s where the good news ended. I was pregnant- technically. My first HCG was 36. But then it doubled 4 times. At my 6 week scan I was cleared of an ectopic. But they also only found a yolk sac. 11 days later- they found a baby. But no heartbeat. On my 37th birthday- they are going to confirm that I have lost my second baby. His name would have been Milo. I feel like my diagnosis of diminished ovarian reserve is affecting my embryo quality. So I’ve made the difficult decision to give up on my genetics and look at donor eggs. In Canada- donor eggs are extremely expensive. So here we are again- hoping that our finances won’t get to determine our ability to build a family.
