Clearing the Path to Parenthood: My HSG Journey

Hi, my name is Caitlin, and I’m 26 years old. My partner and I have been trying to conceive for two years, and my doctor recently referred me for an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) to check if my fallopian tubes are open and functioning properly. I have never been pregnant before. And I get a cycle once a year. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn’t cover this procedure, and paying out-of-pocket has been a real challenge. This test is one of the final steps before moving forward with fertility treatment, and it could finally give us answers after years of uncertainty and hope.
