Hello! My name is Tierra and my husband is Ian. We have been together 8 years and married for 1 year. Before I met Ian I was previously married, my ex-husband and I decided after having three children we were done so I had a tubal ligation, however, that marriage ended in a divorce. Years later I would meet Ian and fall in love. My husband has been the best father to our children during our time together and if you meet him, you honestly wouldn’t know that he biologically isn’t their father. The love that Ian has for our children and watching them grow each year has sparked Ian and I to have heartfelt conversations on how we would love to add an addition to our family as Ian does not have any biological children. We weren’t sure how to move forward with making this happen, so we started to do research about the options that were available to us. After meeting with multiple doctors, we discussed whether it would be better to chose having a tubal reversal or IVF. Throughout that process we were having a hard time finding any doctors who would consider performing tubal reversals. The education provided by doctors motivated us in our decision that IVF has less health risk and has a higher success rate for us.
