Hello family, friends and supporters! We’re Mark and Marissa Carpenter! Our love story began 16 years ago, when two friends fell in love. We were married in 2015 surrounded by friends, family and a beautiful fall evening. From our travels to Orlando and Nashville, we have made lifelong friends that live all across the country. We hold all of these relationships precious, but there was always something missing. In 2017, we moved back to Mandeville, reconnected with friends, grew stronger bonds with family, and bought our family home. We tried for 5 years to have a child naturally. Fast forward to November 2021, we decided to get doctors involved to help the baby process along. This journey included many tests, 5 procedures, tears, excitement and let downs. Today, we have decided (with our doctor) the next step is the biggest step. We have decided IVF is the next step in achieving our dreams of having a child. At this time, we are hoping to raise funds to put towards the IVF costs through fundraising. As many of you may know, fertility treatments are expensive. All of it...the tests, medications, procedures, IUIs and IVF. The price is not one we take lightly. As some may not know, a lot of insurance programs do not cover fertility treatment. We fall under the no fertility coverage and therefore we are paying 100% out of pocket. We cannot thank you all enough for your support!
