Autumn & Glenn�s IVF Journey to Parenthood

Hi, we are Autumn and Glenn, high school sweethearts that have been married for three years. We have been dreaming about our lives together since we were teenagers, and that dream has always included children. Two months into our marriage I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). PCOS is a hormonal disorder that causes enlarged ovaries with small cysts and a host of symptoms and in some women can cause infertility. While my doctor warned me that I might have trouble getting pregnant, neither my husband nor I expected my journey to be so arduous. We've been trying to conceive for more than two years. Infertility affects one out of every eight couples, and it's a difficult road to travel. We've tried everything; we've gone through numerous rounds of medicated cycles, two failed rounds of IUI, and spent thousands of dollars. Our doctor has told us that IVF is the best way for us to start a family. Our insurance doesn't cover infertility procedures or medications, and we have invested so much during this journey.
