Adams Family IVF Journey

My name is Brittney Adams, I was diagnosed with Insulin Resistance PCOS in April of 2023. We had spent over two and a half years doing ultrasounds, HSGs, blood work, medicated cycles, 3 failed IUIs with one doctor before he finally sent us to specialist and he never actually diagnosed me with anything besides “unexplained infertility”… our very first appointment with the specialist they diagnosed me with PCOS. We did one more IUI with that doctor and found out it didn’t work again June 20th, 2023.. we’ve researched clinics because the other clinic we’d have to get a loan and pay over 3,000$ up front just to start the egg retrieval process. Our new clinic is in Utah so everything we raise will go towards doctor bills, travel expenses and medications. As soon as Logan and I got married we knew we wanted a family but we never imagined almost 6 years later at 24 and 25 years old that we would even been thinking of doing IVF. Our first appointment with our new doctor is December 18,2023 and from there we will have a more laid out plan of how often we are having to travel to Utah.
