A Mothers Journey

Hello, we are Jennifer and Tara, very close friends of the Dinkins family. We had the pleasure of meeting the Dinkins family in 2020, during covid. Ever since the first day we were acquainted with the Dinkins, all they’ve ever talked about was expanding their family. LaToshia and her wife Alorie have two wonderful daughters and a precious angel baby they lost in 2018. The Dinkins shared their experience of child loss with us, and the pain of their story still runs chills through our veins today. LaToshia has always dreamt of birthing a child of her own to expand not only their family but to create her legacy. At the age of 35, LaToshia underwent a surgical procedure to help birth a baby and was informed that her only option for birthing a child would be through In vitro fertilization known as IVF. If you aren’t aware, IVF is needed when a female has blocked, damaged, or missing fallopian tubes and is extremely costly, and the starting price is $30,000. LaToshia is a devoted teacher, a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and a phenomenal friend. We cannot think of a more deserving person to help raise money to expand her family.
